We know the identity, Cos (P+Q) = CosPCosQ – SinPSinQ
If CosQ= 9/41 then SinQ = 40/41
-1 ≤ Cos (P+Q) ≤ 1
-1 ≤ Cos P * 9/41 – SinP * 40/41 ≤ 1
9CosP – 41 ≤ 40CosP
X = -41
Hence, option d is the correct answer.
