A group of men was employed to shift 545 crates. Every day after the first, 6 more men than the

previous day were put on the job. Also, every day after the first, each man working, shifted 5 fewer

crates than the number of crates moved by each man the previous day. 5 days were required to finish

the work. What was the number of crates shifted on the third day?

@rahul the work done is no. Of men * time.

Then why in the video it's given work done is no. Of men * no. Of crates shifted?

I don't understand.

Hi @ishitajain

We have considered the time taken in terms of no. of crates shifted because we haven't given the time taken to do the work. Hence the total work done will be equal to no. Of men * no. Of crates moved by each man.
I hope this was helpful for you.
