Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is the Department of Management Studies of the University of Mumbai. The institute is named after industrialist and philanthropist, Jamnalal Bajaj. JBIMS offers full-time Masters in Management Studies programme. In addition to MMS, the institute offers full-time course of Masters in Finance (MSc Finance), Master in Human Resource Development Management (MHRDM),part-time courses and a doctoral PhD programme. In addition to the regular academics, guest lectures are organised from time to time.

Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered at JBIMS Mumbai should first visit the official website and apply online. The college offers both part-time as well as full-time programmes to its students. Here are some important points regarding admission to these courses:

• The academic session of this college usually begins in August every year
• Admissions to MMS programmes is based on MAH-CET entrance exam score
• Candidates with CAT/ CMAT entrance exam score can also apply provided they fulfill the minimum cutoff set by the college
• Based on the entrance exam scores candidates will be called for personal assessment test
• GMAT score is also accepted for admission in all courses in case the candidate is a foreign national such as Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
• For full-time programmes, candidates should have graduation degree from a recognised university with minimum 50 per cent aggregate for General category and 45 per cent aggregate for reserved classes
• For part-time programmes, minimum two years of work experience is necessary
