About Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies

India’s only public-private partnership MBA institute, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies is known for offering management courses at a moderate cost of as low as Rs 3.96 lakh. It is also among the few institutes recognised as a Centre for Entrepreneurship by Central government’s Department of Science and Technology. SIMS is located at Pune, an emerging commercial centre with ample job opportunities in the corporate sector. Accepting entrance exams SIMS holds the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test for aspirants planning to study management here. This is a national-level management entrance test conducted online annually. After clearing this exam, a candidate has to undergo Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) to get admission in SIMS.

Admission Process and eligibility

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune offers postgraduate courses in management studies consisting of full-time and Executive Programs Candidates are selected in the MBA programme on the basis of SNAP score followed by GE-PIWAT Executive PGDM is offered to graduates with 5 years of work experience MBA part-time program is open for graduates with 2 years of work experience Admission to PGADM will be given to graduates/engineers/architects with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam Selection to PGADM will be based on CAT/SNAP/XAT/MAT/GATE/SIMS score PGCP course is open for Graduates/Master’s Degree holder with minimum 50% marks Candidates are selected in the Executive PGDM, part time MBA and PGCP program on the basis of personal interaction
