About Faculty of Management Studies – BHU

Institute of Business Studies, Banaras Hindu University, formerly known as Faculty of Management Studies is the B School of BHU. It was established in 1968 at Varanasi. FMS BHU offers MBA, PG Diploma and Ph.D. courses in the field of Management.

Required Exams: CAT, GMAT

Admission Process and eligibility

FMS, BHU offers MBA for the duration of 2 years along with PGDBA. Candidates applying for MBA program must have cleared the CAT examination. The application forms can be filled online from the admission portal of BHU. For PG Diploma courses, admissions will be based on candidate’s performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Applicants must hold Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (minimum 3 years) with at least 50% aggregate marks. For PG Diploma admissions, candidates need to have an additional experience of 3 years as a Business Supervisor or have own business. The in-service BHU Teachers/ Officers can also apply.
